I have be doing some cleaning and rearranging and I moved my suitcase setup into the living room. I just found Haunchy happily laying in my carefully constructed scene which I thought was quite amusing.

Working Through an Idea

I am working on creating some narrative still life images which has been quite challenging. I want something visually compelling that tells a story. The following shots are a few I recently took as I was thinking of the lure of travel and the simultaneous need for stillness. I feel like something is missing. I was told by one critic that the image was too simple. I am not sure if that is it or not...I like to keep my images simple and yet I do feel like they need something. Any thoughts?
